Q.

recently i have been noticing stool of my baby of quite different colour. sometimes it greenish greyish and sometimes its mixed with yellow. last nite it was complete greenish greyish . i have attached the picture for the same. is this a cause of concern ?? kindly advise . my baby is mostly formula fed ( lactogen 1) ? kindly help to suggest .

A. ifu eaten any greenleafy vegetables then also it shows green color thats not a big issue

A. My son is also 2 months and formula fed. I asked the same from my pediatrician and she said its totally fine to pass green stool.

A. my baby is 2 month 9 days old now . also he is mostly on formula milk . still i see this colour of the poop. is it something to concern about ?

A. Excess bile can cause green poop. A breastfed baby's poop, as it transitions from meconium to mature milk, may look greenish. Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk).
