you can offer her variety of homecooked foods and avoid packed, processed and junk foods.
also try to make her meal timings enjoyable with games, toys and stories.
make her meals attractive and eye appealing with colorful veggies and fruits.
you can give different shapes to her foods.
also encourage her to eat and praise her after every feed.
you can make roti or paratha with stuffed veggies or make it colorful with spinach paste - green color or beetroot for red color, rice and daliya recipes with veggies, pancake, chilq, milk shakes, nuts and dried fruits, paneer, milk, porridge, veg upma ,sheera, poha, egg, chicken, fish, etc
try to offer handy snacks after 2 hours
feed on regular intervals
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. hey mommy please check if it's because of teething. during teething its very normal. also make sure you are giving some easy to eat food like soups, porridges. it's just a phase and will soon pass.
if its not because of teething then please don't force feed. if and when the child is hungry he will eat. just keep trying to offer something after every two hours. use a completely new menu not the typical dal rice chappati.
