present my baby 5 months old,can i give water to my baby?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. no, it's good to give after 6 mth. Because,breast milk has got lot of water ( 80 to 90% of water) which satisfies babys thirst. Baby should be breast feed exclusively till 6 months of age.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. hello water should not be given for baby less than 6 months this is because the breast milk or the infant formula milk which you give for the baby would itself contain the require water content and additional water will absorbed the nutrients so it would be better to avoid it
