Posting on behalf of a friend. She has a 2 month old baby boy. He feeds only on one side for about 5 mins. At night he does not like being woken up from sleep and goes without feeding for hours. Please share your advice or suggestions on how to make him feed on both sides for a longer time and also on night feeds.

A. thank you for reaching out to us with your question it is happen that is it dominant side of feeding for the baby and for the child however what you can do is write a change of position on the side with the baby face lesson see if that's more comfortable for the baby in you can massage the breast while feeding so that the flow increases and the baby is comfortable feeding on that side also make sure you pump extra on the side where the flow is less so that the flow increases please make sure you are waking up the baby every two hours to feed the baby for the first three months
