Plz tell me if I once treated my baby’s when he was 2.5 months old cold with antibiotics then is it that I have to give antibiotics each time..other things will work or not now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergicc rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral igllness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

Not at all I would just say antibiotics are given in extreme cases when the problem is not getting resolved with the regular medication given to the child so please don’t give any antibiotics please consult the doctor and go for the medication suggested by the doctor
