Mohammad GhajaliFather of a 1 m old girl1 week agoA. Low breast milk supply is common, especially in the first few months, and it can often be improved.
Here are the most effective ways to increase your milk supply:
Breastfeed or pump 8–12 times in 24 hours. Milk production works on demand—the more milk removed, the more your body makes.
Make sure your baby has a deep latch, as poor latching can reduce milk transfer.
Offer both breasts at each feeding and let your baby finish the first breast before switching.
If your baby doesn't empty your breasts, pump for 10–15 minutes after feeds.
Stay well hydrated and eat a balanced diet with enough calories and protein.
Get as much rest as possible and ask family members for help with other tasks.
Spend time doing skin-to-skin contact with your baby.
Some mothers find foods like oats, fenugreek, or fennel helpful, but evidence is mixed. Don't start herbal supplements without speaking to your healthcare provider, as they aren't suitable for everyone.
If your baby has fewer than 6 wet diapers a day, isn't gaining weight well, or you continue to have very low milk supply despite frequent feeding, contact your pediatrician or a lactation consultant. They can check for latch issues or medical causes and recommend appropriate treatment. #littlestarscircle @littlestarscircle #shaikaribazainab @shaikaribazainab

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 4 m old boy1 week agoA. Hello! The mother’s body can produce more breastmilk as per baby’s demand and need. That’s the nature. The more your baby takes in your breastmilk directly or the more frequently you express your breastmilk, the better supply. Use Babyhug breastpump for this. Consult a lactation specialist for guidance
