Q.

Please help with tips to reduce BM flow intermittently. My newborn is exclusively on breastfeed and still my breasts get engorged. If I pump it and empty both breasts before going to bed and after getting up, I develop fever every evening. If I dont pump, I develop fever much earlier and more frequent that doesnt go above 100 if medicine not taken for hours. I am still breastfeeding and trying to empty breast by hand. Kindly help. I am struggling with engorged or full breasts and fever.

A. Hello ma’am You really cannot reduce it so it’s better that you pump It well and you can use a manual breast pump or electric breast pump And you can store that Milk and Fraser and all also for later use because the more you feed and more you experience the more you make that’s how it works but still if you are having too much of trouble and you getting fever and all also so I would advise you to consult a lactation specialist ones regarding the same
