Q.

please guide about giving pumped breast milk for a child. how long can the breast milk be stored and how to use it after storage. Is pumped and stored b milk recommend by experts? I am now willing to pump because my child is unable to completely drink milk and I feel pain in my breast after feeding the child.

A. pbest is your feed breast milk directly but if due to any reason you have to pump the breast milk then you can keep at room temperature safely in a steel or a glass vessel for 8 hours

A. breastmilk can be well stored In room temperature for 4-6 hours. But it's good to consume within 4 hours. That's safe. In fridge you can store upto 4-5 days. And in freezer you can store upto two weeks. It's absolutely safe. To feed heat a bowl with water and over that place another bowl with stored milk and heat it for few mins say 2-3 mins. Store breast milk in bottles made of glass or hard plastic with tight-fitting lids. Don't store milk in disposable bottle liners.
