Q.

#Pediatrics My 8 month old daughter started making aa sounds around 6.5 month old. we could then hear sometimes aa boo, hmmm or oo and thought she will babble soon but at 7 months she was hospitalized for sepsis. she is recovered from sepsis but now only makes aa sound and screams and she is now 8 months. worried when will she start babbling again. any experiences where baby made consonant babbling late or is this normal

A. Hello Ma’am Don’t worry so much about it some kids start to speak after the age of 8 to 9 months also and bubbling also it’s perfectly now fine don’t worry about all these things if by the age of nine or 10 months also you see that your child is still not bubbling up or not saying any kind of words you know which are easier for the child to pronounce like Papa Tata and all these things then you can consult your paediatrician but as of now would advise you to wait for a while
