#paediatrician My baby is 7 and half months old and her weight is 6.1 kgs. She is extremely active and feeding well. Her birth weight was 2.74 kgs. Please suggest if this is normal.

A. Hello dear parent! Your baby’s weight gain seems to be fine. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months and triples by one year completion. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Let your child be physically active as much as possible. Good luck and take care.
