Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my baby girl is 2 years 4 months. Her birth weight was 3.25 kg. Her weight was good till 1 or 1 and half year. But from last 6-7 months her weight is 10.5 to 10.75 kgs. Its not increasing. She eats well sometimes, sometimes not. Very active and activities she does more than her age, also have very good memory. But only concern is weight. Should I worry or it is ok.

A. Hi. there is no need to worry unless the child is week and inactive. The ideal weight for 2-3 years is 9.8-14kgs. Even my child eats well, plays well and her favourite food is potato, even then her weight is 12kgs. So it depends on each child. So i feel, there is no need to worry about it
