A. For your 1.5-month-old, introducing a pacifier is generally okay if breastfeeding is well-established (wait a few weeks if newborn), as it can offer comfort and help prevent SIDS, but don't force it, ensure it's clean, and offer it after feeds; pacifiers are similar to thumb sucking for comfort, but thumb sucking usually isn't an issue until teeth develop, though pacifier use might be easier to manage later for stopping the habit if needed, say experts.

A. If your baby's pacifier leaks, it likely means water got trapped inside during cleaning; you should squeeze the nipple and shake it to expel the water, then dry it thoroughly, and replace pacifiers regularly (every 1-2 months) or if you see cracks, as leaks can signal damage,

A. Hello! Please do not use pacifiers , not good for baby’s oral health. Observe your baby for any discomfort symptoms like nausea or fever or crankiness. Consult your doctor for a personal evaluation and advise
