A. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which can be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold spongijybng of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.

Calpol is the best medicine the doctor advised to go ahead with as and when your child is suffering with fever is the safest option to go ahead with which is why I would recommend you to go ahead with this medication and you can repeat it after every six hours if the fever goes upWrite Your Answer Here
