Q.

One of my twin daughter 14 months has not showed up teeth yet i can only see 2 small eruptions but no clear teeth. How can i help and is it concerning? Plz advice me. She does not eat any food. Solid or semi solid

A. Hi you can gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth 3-4 times a day.. this will increase the blood circulation and will hasten the eruption process.. otherwise give your kid chilled silicone teething rings to chew on.

A. The average age is anywhere from 6 months to 12 months, though some babies will get teeth earlier and some will get them later. Timing isn't that important, however, if your baby still has no teeth by the age of 18 months, it may be time to see a pediatric dentist for an evaluation.
