Q.
one month old baby boy. when he is hungry he is taking one side of breast milk for 20 min after that baby slept. whatever I tried to wake up him he is not wake up. after 1.5 hrs baby again hungry. per day 10 to 12 times passing urine is it normal or baby wants to feed extra 1/2 hour?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the cchild will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
