Oats can be given to a child suffering from loose motion?

A. Hello, your baby boy is having loose motions and if you are going to give him a oat meals then it’s not advisable at all as it can increase his loose motions

A. yes can be given. safe and fine. loose watery stools is considered normal in babies. Some amount of foam is due to gas along with poop u check  for any foul smell or any change in color and consistency of poop. If only loose stool u can give zinc drops Z and D drops 1ml once a day and satchets of Econorm/ enterogermina/syp darolac or any other probiotics for 3  days. Give ORS  Green color poop wid out any foul smell  is ok and it s due to digestion process in baby so shall be normal on its own. Fever with pain in abdomen if present can b due to infection n needs a doctor consult soon

A. Yeah you can give oats. try to identify the reason and treat it accordingly. you may give more of water and other healthy liquids such as fruit juices, ORS etc. Give warm water every morning, include a banana daily. Include more foods that contain high levels of fibre. Fiber rich foods can help in faster recovery. Alos ensure baby doesn't get dehydrated.
