Q.

Nowadays I am seeing many ads regarding health drinks and the sugar included in them, and also how to replace them with drinks which have jaggery instead. My question is jaggery is also a form of sugar. So how are we supposed to choose health drinks for kids or its best to avoid them all

A. The best health drink for a todller would be homemade health mix powder drinks like dry fruit and nuts powder. You can prepare these mixes in batches and use them daily to flavour milk. These mixes contain millets, lentils and dry fruits like cashews, almonds that are highly nutritious and devoid of any artificial flavouring, additives and preservatives. Avoid ccommercial health drinks s they are loaded with sugar and preservatives.

A. hi you can prepare such drinks at home for example as it is winter start , you can prepare ginger juice with pudina, jeera , black pepper , jeggary etc you can prepare jeggary ginger juice it is more safe and hygienic
