A. Hello mom In such condition the filtering unit of the kidney is damaged . Due to this the protein get released in the urine and due to that the protein in the blood is reduced. Though protein is very essential to maintain the fluid in blood stream. Diet you have to prefer foods plant based protein as they are not very harsh on the kidneys . As per the filtration rate the protein intake has to be set as in excess it can cause more damage , So you can take - cows milk , curds , wheat , sprouts , dals , legume like chana , rajma , fruits and vegetables , soups , eggs etc , Food to avoid - 1 gm /kg body weight, avoid saturated fats in excess , sodium and salty foods should be limited , bakery products and packaged foods
