Q.
My7 year old have not received /given pneumococcal vaccine . Can I give her now? How many doses needed ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes can give now also. if you are giving 13 valent vaccine (prevenar 13) then single dose is enough and if you are giving 10 valent vaccine then two dosage needs to be given. it would be preferable to give 13 valent vaccine as it would be cost effective as well as will give more immunity
