Q.

My wife is 8 months pregnant. sometime she experiences a pain in her abdomen. Dr. Said it is due to streching of ligaments. do we need to worry about it or it is usual during pregnancy.

A. pain if feeling only sometimes and is mild then no need to worry it is very normal during pregnancy just ask her to take adequate rest and have regular daily walking

A. Stomach pain in the third trimester can include gas, constipation, and Braxton-Hicks contractions (false labor). While these can cause some abdominal discomfort, they shouldn't cause excessive amounts of pain. Abdominal pain that's more severe and concerning can be caused by: urinary tract infection (UTI)
