Q.

My twin daughters are suddenly waking up in mild of night n crying. They had cold n cough 1 week before. Bt they hve been not able to sleep well. Also their appetite has gone down Wat to do

A. there are number of reasons of excessive crying in children because it can be either due to some type of colic pain or digestion problem or due to some type of nasal blockage abdominal pain or any body pain so if it is not immproving meet your doctor and for pain you can give one dosage of paracetamol. if it appears to be colic pain you can give anti colic medicine and if it is due to nasal blockage you can give nasal saline drops. many times changing the environment of the child helps as well as diverting the child helps

A. hi give food like warm rab with ajwain seeds ,sheera or Turmeric milk etc before sleep time at night. keep your child head slightly elevated while sleeping. keep your child well hydrated. dress your child in weather appropriate clothes.
