My twin boys born on 21st Nov and 1st boy left eye having eye boogers. i am continously clean those with warm water. Is it serious having eyeboogers

A. watery eyes are normal condition in young babies, because of nasolacrimal duct block . Do nasal massage on area between eyes and nose several times a day to open up the closed ducts.The tear duct obstruction usually clears for most babies by one year of age. if no improvement by 1 year of age, then probing is advised generally. Consult paediatric opthalmologist and get proper eye examination done You can remove any sticky liquid or crusting by bathing her eye with cooled boiled water and cotton wool. h
