My toddler tongue is black in colour , what does it means ?

A. black tongue can be due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child and it should get cleaned with your clean finger. if it is not decreasing in intensity after d then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue. d it is advisable to get the child examine by the doctor.

A. Are you giving any iron supplement to the child because that can possibly be one big reason for the tongue to turn black and if you’re not doing it then maybe you’re not cleaning the tongue properly as it’s very important to maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing twice in a day and clean the tongue with a proper tongue cleaner
