my toddler is 22months old but he only speaks mama dada bua and we try to make him call papa or some other words or sentences but he doesn't say anything and he didn't even try he only show his hands for us to understand what he is trying to say what I should do?

A. Hai good afternoon !! By 1.5 - 2 years babies speak around 50-80 words calling by names,relations,recognising things,toys ,pets names ,saying hai ,bye ,responding to commands with words . As baby speaking less according to age,go for assessment with developmental paediatrician or speech therapist . Engage in activities,evening walks,baby gear(cycling) parks,mingling /playing with kids,peers helps in speech ,motor developments. Avoid screen,multi language(more than one language) .
