Q.

My toddler has been vomiting since yesterday. Despite giving medicine, it starts again at 4-5 hour intervals. Are there any major problems ??

A. after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat inx this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. Vomiting usually can happen due to indigestion or over eating or over feeding you just have to check what could probably be the reason with your child further of the vomiting has been continuous even after giving medicines I would recommend you to consult your doctor and continuously give water with ORS to maintain hydration and energy in the body
