my three months old baby get white dry shady patches on back neck hands spreading why

Pls share the picture if the skin as it us difficult to judge without examining the baby and apply little coconut oil on the patches stop giving oil massage before bath abd use mild head to toe baby wash instead of soap and after that apply lotion it oil on skin and consult the doctor once
