Q.

My spouse was tested HBsAg positive, now she has delivered (it's 2.5 months) after the delivery is there any medication required now and how further?

A. see shes is ok and you can follow with a gastro enterologist or a physician as of now. i hope baby also got the vaccine as well as the immuno globulin

A. Thanks Dr Priyanka, yes the baby was given immunoglobulin. I also got the test done for HBsAg and was tested negative. hope will that be cured be cured for her?

A. A positive HBsAg test result means that you are infected and can spread the hepatitis B virus to others through your blood. Yes treatments are required until she gets cured. I will suggest you to see your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
