A. Some kids are fussy and picky eaters and therefore it is important to mix variety of foods so that maximum nutrition can be given even in smaller quantities. Fruits and vegetables are important for overall healthy growth and development, so try to feed in the form of fresh juices, mixed soup, oats, dalia, custard, milkshakes with dry fruits, etc. Apart from this, for weight gain, include fat and protein rich foods like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, chicken, egg, fish, banana, avocado and 500-550 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks.
