Father of a 5 yr 6 m old boy4 years ago
Q.

My son was born preemie with birth weight of 1.4 kgs and now after 1 year 2 months, he just weighs 6.5 kgs. He is having proper meals but weight is still an issue. What can b done? Also, he hasn't started walking, crawling and even talking yet. What can be done to make sure he's achieving the milestones in time.?

A. You should also talk to your doctor if you feel your baby's motor skills aren't developing properly. This might be the case if your 14-month-old is unable to stand, pull up, or bounce. It's also important to realize that some babies born prematurely begin walking later than children of the same age.
