Q.

my son's lower teeth r erupting and he is having mild cold and temperature fluctuating range between 99 and 100... what can be the reason for the temperature... he isnt having any other symptoms...

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could bea associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treagtment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
