Q.
my son is two months old and he had heavy cough and little bit of cold. I have been using cough,cold, antibiotic syrups since 4 days and using nebulizer but cough has not controlled yet. I'm using mustered oil,baby rub also.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. give steam to baby at home .Running nose and cold mostly is due to only seasonal variation . Steam can be given for this at home and if it is trouble some then montair LC can be given 2 times in a day .

Try giving indirect steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort. If the problem persists even after medication then it needs further medical evaluation. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Good luck and take care.
