Q.
my son is two months old and he had heavy cough and little bit of cold. I have been using cough,cold, antibiotic syrups since 4 days and using nebulizer but cough has not controlled yet. I'm using mustered oil,baby rub also.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. give steam to baby at home .Running nose and cold mostly is due to only seasonal variation . Steam can be given for this at home and if it is trouble some then montair LC can be given 2 times in a day .

Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Try giving indirect steam inhalation to reduce the discomfort. If the problem persists even after medication then it needs further medical evaluation. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Good luck and take care.
