Q.

My son is over 6 years old and he has not received any dose of the chickenpox vaccine yet. Can I get him vaccinated for chickenpox now? If yes, how many doses are required and when should they be given?

A. Ma’am chickenpox is bound to happen once in a lifetime if not today then maybe after five years or 10 years or maybe in a later age but it happens so if you want to get the vaccination done you can check with your doctor even if you do not get it done it is alright because the chickenpox will happen so why unnecessarily take a vaccination and also it is not a mandatory one it’s an optional vaccination so you can decide whatever suits you
