Q.

My son is not having free motion..His weight is also low compared to his age..Please suggest us regarding this

A. For good digestion and keep constipation at bay, it is important to include variety of fluids in kid's diet. Keep him well hydrated with fiber rich foods like veggies, fruits with peels, apple and prune juice, toast, rice, coconut water, curd, etc. Keep him physically active in all types of games. Massage the stomach in circular motions and move legs in cycling rotation. For weight gain, include fatty food like potato, rice, pumpkin, bana, avocado, cereals, sweet potato, rice water, milkshakes with dry fruits, legumes eggs, chicken , fish, etc. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks.
