For healthy weight gain and growth, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, raisins, dates to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. Give 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time. Continue to breastfeed till 2 years.
