Q.

My son is near to 5 months old. his weight is above 6 kgs. these days he is not at all showing interest in drinking milk from me when he is awake. he is just going away from it though I forcefully pull him towards the breast...he is refusing. but, when he is about to get sleep...in that drowsy state...he is accepting milk from me only at that time. in that drowsy state, he is not drinking milk completely..and just sleeping. these days he is not at all gaining weight. I'm very much worried about this. though he is not taking feed properly he is being active. I'm not able to understand what has happened to him. please advice...

A. Hi, Weight of your baby is absolutely fine. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight. Give your breastmilk not forcefully but on demand. Use Babyhug bedsheet protector and Babyhug reusable muslin cloth diaper.
