Q.

Hi doctor...My baby is five months old..He is not showing interest in drinking milk..Shall I start giving solids

A. Hai good evening !! From 5 complete months semi solids are suggested because below 5 months babies can't digest solids. Now exclusive breast milk or formula milk are suggested ,give frequent feeds every two hours. Around 3-4 months babies develop milestone of observing surroundings,exploring new things,staring at objects,giggles,observing expressions as they interested to explore they reject feed or take play feed for 2-3 minutes and unlatch... Continue giving frequent feeds for atleast 5-10 minutes every 2-3 hours.
