Q.

My son is having a hard lump after penta vaccination... Its being one week... Still not reducing.. I am applying ice over the area... How long will it take to reduced.. Is it normal to have a lump after vaccination

A. take upto month sometimes after painful vaccines administration they can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
