ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist3 years agoA. Hello mom nephrotic syndrome is not curable .. the child would be on medications and some diet specification would be helpful mostly the condition. Is to do with improper filteration abd hence salt and fluid restrictions is important . Fluids should also be counted even the food that are Liquids at room temperature .
So as per his output the doctor would recommend his fluid intake quantity .. you can round about take a measuring cup or a cup that the child tend to use and know the quantity of it and use it accordingly .
Avoid salty foods and packaged and frozen foods , sauces , bakery foods etc as far as possible prefer only home cooked fresh foods only .
So fresh vegetables and fruits , whole grains and cereals, milk can be given though avoid processed cheese as it contain very high sodium
