Q.

My son is 8.5 yr old and he's playing badminton everyday. So what diet should be included to improve his stamina and reduce joint pains please suggest

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most recommon. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be dgiven for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. U. Should go ahead with giving calcium to the child that’s very important get a check for Dev it is deficiency of vitamin B 12 and three that is also important along with that you should try to give more of proteins to the child your child is a player so try to go ahead with more of eggs on an every day basis
