Q.
my son is 7months old from ,3-4 days he is suffering from cold, runny nose n a lil cough too ...i wm in Abu Dhabi currently but my mumbai pediatrician has prescribed tminic drops n tixylix syrup for cold n cough..my question is can this be given continuously to him until cold n cough gets cured?? and also how many times in a day can i give this to him ??? also any other remedies please

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along vwith that cough expectorant and decongestant with agntiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
