Q.

my son is 7 months old his weight is not increasing as it should be he is just 6.2kg. His birth wt was 2.5kg . Am giving him cerelac, Nan excella pro2, rice, Vegetables, fruits, Dalia, ragi but his weight is not increasing am very much worried about his wt. please suggest me what to do?

A. Dear mum, based on a birth weight of 2.5 kg, current weight of 6.2 kg at the age of 7 months is absolutely normal, do not worry. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months. Also if your baby is active, playful and achieving all growth milestones then it indicates good health.
