Q.

My son is 50 days old. Still he is not recognizing face and smiling.. is that normal ?

A. It’s pretty normal. Don’t be anxious. Bcoz babies do see the anxiety on the parents, grandparents or whoever is around them and don’t decide to react & take their own time. Even my grandson takes his own time to not smile. Most of the time he’s crying in colic. So expect them to fully be smiling by 3 months, but for that keep constantly talking to them , smiling with them so that they imitate in the similar manner.

A. hi yes ,its normal babies can recognise their familiar faces and can give social smile after age of 3 months so please wait for few days more
