Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Shikha kumarMom of 2 children3 years agoA. dear mama this bill pain for one or two days so there is nothing to get worried you can simply apply ice pack over it and let it be or you can a rubber little bit of Desi Ghee overrated but if it is the too much disturbing your child you can give one dose of painkiller that is ibugesic plus that will help your child to calm down
