A. Red eyes in a 5-month-old baby for three days could be due to irritation, allergies, or an eye infection like conjunctivitis. It's important to keep the eyes clean by gently wiping with a clean, damp cloth and avoid touching or rubbing them. Do not use any eye drops without consulting a doctor. Since the redness has lasted several days, please take your baby to a pediatrician promptly to get the right diagnosis and treatment, as some eye infections may need medication to prevent complications.
