my son is 4month old his weight is 5.9 but his birth wt was 3.4 kgs is that normal

A. An infant should gain approximately 140-200 gms weight every week and by 5th month, it should fouble the birth weight. For healthy growth and development, it is important to feed fully and frequently. Between 5-6 months, you can also start semi solid foods in the diet as it helps in gaining weight too.
