Q.

my son is 4.5 months old .formula feed.suffring from oral ulcer from yesterday. do not want to drink milk properly. I visited his doctor. he prescribed a gel for the oral ulcer. how many days it will take to cure totally? he is in nonbarable pain . what can I do for him?

A. Oral thrush in infants often disappears within 2 weeks, and parents or caregivers may be advised to monitor the infection, without using medication. Sometimes, a doctor will prescribe drops or a gel that must be spread around the inside of the mouth, not just put on the tongue.
