You can introduce milk in other forms like chapathi, idly or dosa or rice in milk like that. You can give other alternative sources of calcium or other food items which will give the same nutrients as milk like green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouted grains, ragi, soya products etc. Instead of milk try other dairy products like curd, paneer, butter milk, ghee, butter, cheese etc., Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite.
