Mom of a 6 yr 8 m old boy3 years ago
Q.

my son is 3year 3 months old . very intelligent, always excited to explore and learn new things. He is very good and obedient boy at home but at school he hit children and sometimes bites his classmates without any reason it was his 3rd day of school but everyday he had snatched one or the other. I am very worried about him . I have been harsh and soft also with him with these but it really didn't help

A. To help your child understand your message, use an authoritative, matter-of-fact (not angry or screaming) voice. At the same time, use a “stop” or “no-no” gesture along with your words. You might say, No hitting, hitting hurts, as you take her hand and hold it by her side, firmly but not angrily.
