Q.

My son is 3 yrs 8 months old . he is not speaking till now , he understands almost. he is diagnosed with mild autism. His speech therapy and occupational therapy is going on. What are other things I can do to help him. Doctor didn't prescribed any medicine. what should I do?

A. to improve speech -read different books to the child -talk to the child daily routine like the child understands you with regular eye contact -singing songs and rhymes -while talking repeat what your child says with right pronunciation and do not criticize the child -avoid screen time(tv mobile laptop). leave permit the child to watch the activities that allowz to improve his language -take your child outside (open environment) and have a talk with the child regarding the things around the child -introduce new words gradually for proper understanding -speak about things child is interested in. z
