Q.
My son is 3 years old. He has congestion since winters. What to do? Taken medication now n then but the situation is same.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicihine which should be used otnce a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

please consult an experienced homeopath
please keep her away from dust and pollution
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
use simply purified water having tds higher than the 350
and keep her well hydrated
